About Spencer
Spencer Sweeting encourages people to seek the Kingdom of God first—through stories, songs, and Spirit-led spaces that aim for deeper life and mission with Jesus.
Whether preaching to pastors, leading worship in local churches, or coaching ministry teams through complex seasons, Spencer brings both a shepherd’s heart and a prophet’s voice. Over the past 20+ years, his calling has taken many forms: lead pastor, church planter, ministry coach, and worship leader. He currently serves as Executive Pastor of Allegheny Center Alliance Church—a historic, diverse congregation in the heart of Pittsburgh, PA—where he turns vision into strategy, develops leaders and teams, and helps shape a culture of following Jesus in diverse community.
Spencer and his wife Beth (a professional counselor) planted City Alliance Church in their hometown of Williamsport, PA in 2012. From 2020 to 2025, he served as Lead Pastor of New Spring Church in Colorado Springs, CO. As a worship leader and creative artist, Spencer has led Spirit-filled worship in communities around the world and contributed to several original music projects. He holds degrees in English and Religious Studies from Penn State University and studied Evangelism and Church Planting at Liberty University Theological Seminary.
Spencer and Beth are raising three amazing daughters and finding everyday joy in good coffee, good music, and good stories. He is also a proud co-owner of the Green Bay Packers.
